Wheelchair Accessible Transport

At Care Alliance, we provide wheelchair-accessible transport to support participants with mobility requirements to travel safely, comfortably, and reliably within their community. This service plays an important role in promoting independence, community access, and participation in everyday life, in line with each participant’s individual needs and NDIS goals.

We operate a fleet of wheelchair-accessible vehicles across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, and Maitland, supporting participants to attend appointments, access community activities, travel to work or education, and maintain important daily routines. Each vehicle is equipped to support safe and accessible transport, including ramps or lifts, secure wheelchair anchoring systems, spacious interiors, and appropriate safety equipment.

Transport is provided by experienced support staff who understand the individual needs of participants and deliver support in a safe, respectful, and person-centred manner. Our aim is to reduce barriers to access and support participants to move through their community with greater choice, control, confidence, and independence.
