At Care Alliance, our Equine & Nature Assisted Psychology program offers a unique, therapeutic experience designed for individuals living with Complex PTSD, borderline personality disorder, trauma-related mental health conditions, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and other disabilities.
Delivered on a serene farm in the Hunter Valley, this program is led by one of our experienced registered psychologists and grounded in trauma-informed care principles. In this calming natural environment, participants are supported to rebuild trust, regulate emotions, and deepen self-awareness through gentle interactions with nature and animals.
Our therapy horses—Friday Sunshine and Zen Ed (pictured!)—are known for their calm nature and emotional sensitivity, playing a key role in helping clients explore healing, develop resilience, and foster meaningful personal growth.
This powerful, experiential approach nurtures connection, empowerment, and emotional wellbeing in a safe and supportive setting.
