From the historic centre out to Rutherford, Thornton and Beresfield, Care Alliance provides coordinated NDIS and allied health support across Maitland. Psychology, positive behaviour support, registered nursing, occupational therapy and physiotherapy are all delivered by one connected team, so participants and families aren't juggling separate providers.
Our behaviour support practitioners offer clinic-based and outreach support across Maitland, and our support workers assist with daily living, community access and complex care in the home. Registered Nurse oversight and a 24/7 on-call team sit behind every support. Communication access is part of that same connected team: participants who are Deaf or hard of hearing can request an Auslan-trained support worker instead of bringing in a separate provider.
We also have Supported Independent Living homes here, in Chisholm and Raworth. All of our SIL homes are in the Newcastle and Maitland areas. They are single-level, wheelchair-accessible homes with Registered Nurse oversight, registered for high intensity supports. We own all of our homes. None is rented from an outside landlord who could sell the house or end a lease, so each is a long-term, stable home for the people who live there.
