Supervision, training & development
Supervised, supported and always developing
Structured internal and external supervision, a sequenced onboarding pathway for every clinical role, and ongoing modules with quizzes and certificates. Development here is built into the job, not bolted on.
You will never be practising alone
Supervision here is matched to your discipline and to where you are in your career — not a single policy stretched across every role. Our behaviour support practitioners and occupational therapists, for example, receive both internal supervision with senior practitioners who know our participants and our systems, and external supervision with independent specialists outside the organisation.
For behaviour support practitioners specifically, internal supervision comes from Heidi, our internal supervisor, and from Marqus — who is both a registered psychologist and a behaviour support practitioner. External supervision sits alongside it with an independent specialist, and we fund it.
Internal supervision keeps day-to-day decisions well supported. External supervision brings an outside perspective, challenges our thinking and keeps practice accountable to something beyond our own walls. Whatever your profession, we will set out your supervision arrangements clearly before you start — and they are part of your role, not something you fit in around it.

Ongoing eLearning for every role
15 modules across 4 streams — compulsory, high intensity, mental health, support coordination. Each one presents its content, then a quiz; pass it and your certificate is emailed to you.

Learn to sign, from people who teach it
We roster Auslan-trained support workers deliberately, so Deaf and hard-of-hearing participants can talk directly with the person supporting them. That team includes an Auslan tutor and Deaf guest educator who has trained students and interpreters through TAFE and Deaf Connect.
