Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, protect and share personal information — and the choices and rights you have. Written in plain English, because privacy policies should be readable.

Who we are
This policy covers Care Alliance Allied Health & Supports, the trading name of Care Alliance Group Pty Ltd (ABN 72 656 823 004), an NDIS-registered provider of allied health and disability supports based in Charlestown NSW. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Privacy Principles, and our obligations as a registered NDIS provider.
What we collect
We only collect information we genuinely need to deliver safe, appropriate supports:
- Contact details — name, phone, email, address, and the details of nominated family members, carers, guardians or support coordinators.
- NDIS information — participant number, plan goals, how the plan is managed, and funding details relevant to your supports.
- Health and disability information— diagnoses, clinical reports, medications, support needs, risk information and progress notes. This is “sensitive information” under the Privacy Act, and we collect it only with your consent or as permitted by law.
- Feedback and complaints — which you can give anonymously if you prefer.
- Job applications — qualifications, work history, screening checks and references for people applying to work with us.
How we collect it
Directly from you wherever possible — through the forms on this website, by phone or email, and in person during services. With your consent, we may also receive information from people involved in your supports: family, carers, support coordinators, your other health providers, or the NDIA. Referrals submitted through this website go directly to our secure client-management system.
You can deal with us anonymously or using a pseudonym where practicable — for example, general enquiries and feedback. For delivering funded supports, we need to know who you are.
Why we use it
- To assess referrals and deliver the supports you’ve chosen.
- To keep services safe — clinical oversight, incident management and quality improvement.
- To claim and manage funding (NDIS, iCare, DCJ, Medicare or private billing).
- To meet our legal obligations as a registered NDIS provider.
- To respond to enquiries, feedback and complaints.
- To recruit and manage staff.
We do not sell personal information, and we don’t send marketing without consent.
Who we share it with
- With your consent — people involved in your supports, such as your support coordinator, plan manager, family or other treating professionals.
- Where required or authorised by law — including the NDIA, the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, and mandatory reporting obligations.
- Service providers we use to run Care Alliance — such as our secure client-management, communication and website systems. We take reasonable steps to ensure they protect your information; some technology providers may process data outside Australia under equivalent safeguards.
Participant stories and photos are only ever published with documented consent, which can be withdrawn at any time by contacting us.
How we protect and keep it
Your information is stored in secured systems with access limited to staff who need it for your supports. We keep records for as long as needed to provide services and as required by law for NDIS providers, then dispose of them securely. If a data breach likely to cause serious harm ever occurred, we would respond in line with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme, including notifying you and the regulator.
Website analytics and cookies
This website uses Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics to understand how the site is used, and Google advertising tags to measure our advertising. These tools use cookies and collect information such as pages visited and approximate location — not your health information. You can limit cookies in your browser settings.
Access and correction
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct anything inaccurate or out of date. Contact us using the details below — we’ll respond promptly and explain the process, and we don’t charge for making a request.
Privacy questions or complaints
Contact us first — call 1300 206 309, email info@carealliance.com.au or use our feedback and complaints page. We take privacy concerns seriously and will investigate and respond to you.
If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
