By the end, you will be able to
- Explain what epilepsy is and recognise the different forms a seizure can take.
- Identify a person's seizure triggers and follow their Epilepsy Management Plan and Emergency Medication Management Plan.
- Give seizure first aid, including the recovery position.
- Decide when to call 000.
- Describe what midazolam is for, who can give it, and what to monitor and record afterwards.
